Divisions & Departments

1) Command Division:

The Command Division staffs all management personnel who specialize in keeping all of the major office/administrative work in line. Personnel of the Command Division receive monetary remuneration for their work.

1.1) Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors heads the Command Division and delegates tasks to the Command Division departments as well as other divisions. The Board of Directors is made up of Chief Divisional Officers and their assistants. Meetings are to be held once a week on weekends, but emergency meetings can be set up by the Chief Executive Officer.

1.2) Public Relations & Sales Department:

The Public Relations Department staffs members versed in inter-corporate affairs – they represent WS in meetings with other corporations or alliances along with the Chief Divisional Officers. As well, they are the ones to talk to for information on WS defense contracts.

1.3) Human Resources Department:

The Human Resources Department staffs members who recruit for the corporation and settle any internal disputes. Recruiters are paid on commission and are given bonuses for recruiting pilots with high skill points.

1.4) Marketing Department:

The Marketing Department is in charge of systematically anchoring labeled secure cargo containers in busy space lanes to advertise the corporation and encourage people to join the WS-Public channel to find out more about defense contracts or joining. Marketers are paid on commission for the number of cans they anchor.

1.5) Finance Department:

The Finance Department staffs accountants in charge of tabulating on spreadsheets the weekly incomes generated by corporation taxes and corporation operations and weekly expenses such as payouts, bonuses to members, ship purchases, blue print purchases etc. Due to the amount of time required to culminate this data for the weekly Board of Directors meetings as well as the dry, uneventful nature of the task, accountants will be well remunerated.

1.6) Starbase & Hangar Management Department:

Starbase managers specialize in maintenance of player owned stations including the deployment of defenses. Hangar custodians make sure the corporate hangars are clean and organized. They also audit the hangars to keep in track of the items that come and go. Members of this department are paid a weekly salary.

2) Naval Division:

The Navy is the military force charged with defending and pursuing corporate interests by force, and particularly, fulfilling defense contracts. It is to be prepared for fleet sized combat engagements and the guarding of non-military ships in dangerous space. The Navy hosts one group agent mission session a week where bounties are shared among participants, as well as one combat practice session per week. Only members of the Naval Division may participate in these group operations.

2.1) Assault Fleet:

The assault fleet contains the backbone of the Navy, as it will contain the ships with the most destructive firepower. The Assault Fleet has two ship types:

2.1.1) Damage Dealing Ships:

These ships are packed to the brim with the most firepower and shields/armor as possible, nothing more, nothing less. They are at the forefront of any attack. Dreadnoughts, battleships, battlecruisers and heavy assault cruisers are the best ships for this role.

2.1.2) Pod & Tackler Killing Ships:

These ships are small versions of the damage dealing ships, sacrificing firepower and armor with agility, speed, and fast target tracking. They must be able to lock onto small ships and destroy them quickly. Assault frigates and interceptors are the best ships for this role, as well as destroyers and fast cruisers.

2.2) Support Fleet:

The support fleet specializes in the use of fleet support modules, electronic warfare type modules and propulsion inhibiting modules. This fleet has three ship types:

2.2.1) Dedicated Support Ships:

These ships are equipped with fleet support modules such as remote shield transporter systems, remote armor repair systems, remote energy systems and tracking and range enhancers to aid the assault fleet ships. Logistics cruisers, destroyers and battlecruisers are best suited for this role for their many high-slots.

2.2.2) Electronic Warfare Ships:

These ships are equipped with targeting system jamming and weapon jamming modules to prevent enemy ships from firing their weapons. Blackbird cruisers and Scorpion battleships are well regarded in these roles for their abundance of medium slots.

2.2.3) Tackler Ships:

These ships are equipped with stasis webbifiers, warp drive prohibitors, and preferably, microwarpdrives. Their task is to move in quickly on the enemy’s ships and prevent them from moving. Ships meant for this job are interceptors, assault frigates and regular frigates.

2.3) Reconnaissance Fleet:

The recon fleet is the intelligence branch of the Navy that specializes in exploration and gathering information about enemy headquarters, offices, fleets and individual players. It is strictly made up of ships with cloaking devices and probe launchers. There are two ship types in the recon fleet:

2.3.1) Covert Ops Ships:

These are tech II frigates designed specifically for cloaking while on the move. They are extremely useful for spying on the enemy without alerting anyone of their presence. Equipped with probe launchers, they can find ships a system safe spot.

2.3.2) Stationary Cloaking Ships:

These are non covert ops ships which use a low level cloaking device which allows them to remain cloaked, but do little else. They are useful for covertly observing space lanes for traffic of enemy ships. Equipped with probe launchers, they can also act as scouts to search systems for the enemy.

2.4) Naval Reserve Fleet:

This fleet consists of pilots who are members of other divisions of the corporation, but are willing to fight for WS if our Navy is in bad shape and needs more firepower. The reserve fleet is only activated in emergency situations and will not normally be called upon to fight in a war which the Navy can handle on its own.

3) Trade Division:

The Trade Division is for professional traders who play the market, haul and do courier missions. Members of this division may be called upon to help move items from one corporate office to another, or other hauling/trade missions, for which they will receive monetary remuneration.

4) Mining Division:

The Mining Division is for players who are professional miners and mineral refiners. It hosts several mining operations a week where all WS members are invited. Proceeds go to the Production Division coffers. Members of the mining division will receive 50% of the money made by the Production Division on sales.

5) Production Division:

The Production Division is for professional blue print researchers and ship, equipment and ammunition manufacturers. Its main function is to provide a secondary source of income to the corporation by manufacturing and selling items on the Eve market. It is also tasked with manufacturing ships for members at cost price. Members of this division receive 35% off sales of products. There are two departments:

5.1) Manufacturing Department:

This department hosts manufacturing managers who can rent out and use factory facilities for the corporation.

5.2) Research Department:

Researchers rent out research labs and create blue print copies as well as increase the efficiencies of blue print originals.

6) Freelance Division:

The Freelance Division is for those who choose to be a jack of all trades – good at a lot, specialist in nothing. There are no monetary rewards for being in this division.
